We have gathered some of the very best 4th of July celebrations and firework displays around the area!

Wednesday, June 29

**Nampa God and Country Festival**

Ford Idaho Center -16200 N Idaho Center Blvd, Nampa
Pre-events start at 2pm and gates open at 5:30pm. Free Admission, Non-Denominational

Bring your friends and family for an afternoon of celebration. Enjoy tons of family-friendly action packed activities for the whole family! Great music, food, military appreciation, BMX Extreme Sports Exhibition and lots more entertainment for the afternoon and then be enlightened by the spectacular FIREWORKS show at dusk!

Saturday, July 2

Boise Hawks VS. Hillsboro
The Boise Hawks will take on Hillsboro at home.  Enjoy an exciting post game fireworks show in the stadium!
The first pitch will be thrown at 7:35pm.
Tickets range from $7-$20

**2016 Cascade Thunder Mountain Days Parade & Fireworks**

The 77th Annual Celebration includes El Korah “Sidewinders” Annual Duck Race and a lunch BBQ. Fireworks will begin at dusk over Lake Cascade. The parade will take place on main Street and the Fireworks will display over Lake Cascade.

7am-10:30am - Buckaroo Breakfast
11am - Parade
12pm (noon) - SYCRD Aquatic Center Grand Opening and Free BBQ
10:15pm - Fireworks of Lake Cascade
Sunday, July 3 - Noon - Masons Duck Race

**Marsing Independence Day Celebration**

Marsing Island Park on the Snake River
6:00 p.m. ~ Fun activities for the family-dunk tank, bounce house, a kid's train, kid's games, food, music and entertainment, and an after fireworks dance! (Island Park)
10:00pm ~ FIREWORKS!


Monday, July 4th

**Boise Independence Day Celebration**

The 10th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration will be the capstone to a day-long community celebration of Independence Day in Boise on Monday July 4.

Before the fireworks Boiseans can enjoy two other July 4 traditions: 

  • Gem State Kiwanis Annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast – 7-11 a.m. at the Julia Davis Park Gene Harris Bandshell. Prices are $5 for children 13 and under; $7 for seniors; $8 for adults; $25 for families with two adults and two or more children. All current active duty military members and their families are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling Karen at (208) 331-1456 or at the door the day of the event. 
  • The 2016 We the People Liberty Day Parade – 11 a.m. in Downtown Boise.  Presented by Mission43, this year’s parade theme is “Industry and Service, expressing shared values of working hard and giving back to our communities.” 

There will be food and beverage vendors in the park beginning food service no later than 5:00 p.m.

**Meridian Independence Day Festival**

Storey Park-205 E Franklin
3:00pm ~ Event begins with inflatable toys, climbing wall, live music, food vendors and more!
3:00pm ~ Zack Quintana begins live performance in the Storey Park picnic shelter.
5:00pm ~ Soul Patch begins live performance in the Storey Park picnic shelter.
6:30pm ~ Meridian Speedway races begin.
7:00pm ~ Gate to the Storey Park Baseball Field opens to allow for more fireworks viewing area.
7:30pm ~ Simple Ruckus begins live performance in the Storey Park picnic shelter.
Approximately 10:15-10:30pm – FIREWORKS

Please note: Due to safety concerns, we are no longer hosting the Safe and Sane fireworks area in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot.  We hope you enjoy events and public fireworks, but please leave personal fireworks at home.

**City of Caldwell 4th of July Parade & Celebration**


9am ~ Patriotic Parachuter flies the American Flag to the 1st hole at the Fairview Golf Course to begin the parade
9am ~ Parade-Memorial Park - 411 Blaine St.
10am-2pm Van Slyke Mueum Tours
10:30am- Opening Ceremonies-Fallen Soldier & Flag Ceremony
10:30am-3pm ~ Family & Kid activities, Car Show, Vendors, Contests, Performers, Farmers Market, and Wet Zone!
11:50am ~ Most Patriotic Bike Contest (Band Shell)
1pm ~ Apple Pie Eating Contest (Band Shell)
The Caldwell City Pool will be open July 4th from 1 - 6pm -- No cost to swim today!
10:15pm ~ Fireworks (Brother's Park) Spectator areas will include Brothers Park, Caldwell High School, the YMCA parking lot and Heritage School. Parking will be available at the Caldwell High School for a $2 fee.


**Middleton 4th of July Celebration**


Event held at Foote Park and throughout the City of Middleton

**Notus 4th of July Celebration**

10am ~ Parade

Notus First Baptist Church Lawn
11am-2pm ~ Old Fashioned Community Picnic, Festival, Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest, Bingo, Water Slides and Wet Zone, Bounce House, Apple Pie Bake Off, Lemonade Stand, Craft Vendors, Food Vendors and LOTS MORE! We have LOTS of great PRIZES for our Raffle!


**Melba Old Tyme 4th of July Celebration**


Festivities all day including a fun run, parade, concessions and vendors, tractor pull, horseshoe pitching contest, arts & crafts fair, Melba Senior Center luncheon and much more! Fireworks will begin at dusk!

**Emmett Optimist annual 4th of July Show **

Gem Island Sports Complex

8:00 pm - Vendors, fish tacos, watermelon, ice cream, dunk tank, drinks, face painting, skits by EHS drama students, and entertainment. Fireworks show will begin at sundown. Approximately 10:15pm. More activities and vendors might be added.


**Homedale -Lions Club Demolition Derby and Fireworks**

6:00 pm ~ Demolition Derby - Owyhee County Rodeo Grounds
(Purchase tickets at NAPA in Homedale)
10:15pm ~ FIREWORKS


**Star's Hometown 4th of July Celebration**


7am-9:30am ~ Breakfast @ Hunters Creek Park ($3 individual or $15 family)
10am ~ Hometown Parade Starts (9am Lineup will be at the entrance to Rockbridge (Seneca Springs Way & State Street)  

All activities listed below will take place at Hunters Creek Sports Park (Floating Feather and Star Rd). Bring a lawn chair or blanket!  Refreshments will be available and raffle prizes will be drawn throughout the evening.

5:00pm-10:00pm ~ Hotdogs, Chips, Drinks, Candy & More
5:00pm ~ Kids Games/Water Fun with Star Fire
6:30pm ~ Star Talent Show
8:00pm ~ The Fabulous Chancellors
10:15pm ~ FIREWORKS

**Idaho City Old-Fashioned 4th of July Fun**

Come spend the day in beautiful Idaho City!

12pm - Parade followed by the Wheelbarrow Race on Main Street.
1pm - Reading of the Declaration of Independence and a hot dog lunch at John Brogan Park
2pm - Idaho City Triathlon (adults only) 
3pm - Old-Fashioned Shootout
10:15pm - Fireworks at dusk in the Football field
