You may have seen the Garden in bloom in summer, but have you seen it glow in the winter? Join us for the 20th annual Winter Garden aGlow at the Idaho Botanical Garden and see our dazzling display of over 400,000 sparkling lights artfully displayed throughout the holiday season. Complimentary cocoa, cider and cookies every night!
Special guest Santa will visit from the North Pole select nights and the Holiday Express, a G-scale model train, will wind its way through the glowing winter wonderland. Local choirs will fill the air with music on select nights. Visit the Garden Store for special ‘holiday specs’ to turn the twinkling lights into holiday symbols and characters!
Santa will be at the Garden weekends Friday-Mondays in December, Prancer will join him unless she is busy running Mrs. Claus' errands. Professional photos are also available for sale. Visits are free with Winter Garden aglow admission.
We are open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Open rain, shine, or snow.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate, in advance by visiting the Garden office Monday-Friday from 9-5 p.m. or online here.Tickets purchased online are date specific but can be used another night if needed.
