Epique Events announces the second annual Kidsfest Idaho on August 6, 2016 at Kleiner Park in Meridian

Dedicated to preserving the quality of family life and opportunities in the Treasure Valley, Epique Events (formerly Plan Ahead Events Boise), along with Fleet Feet Sports, Treasure Valley Children’s Theater, and many more is producing the 2nd annual Kidsfest Idaho 2016. Featuring some of the top kids’ activities in the area, we invite everyone to come out and experience the family FUN event in August. The event will be held in Kleiner Park in Meridian from 9 am until 2 pm.

At 9:00 am we kickoff the event with our first annual Kids Super Summer Candy Hunt (think Easter Egg Hunt without the eggs).  Ages 5 and under will have their own “private” hunt…older kids will be hunting for prizes scattered throughout the event area!  Join us at Shelter One as we kickoff Kidsfest Idaho with a fun, family friendly event ending at the amphitheater where prizes for the older kids will be awarded.  The fun continues until 2 pm.

You will find free interactive games for kids at booths.  Bubble soccer, water games, bounce houses, arts and crafts, and entertainment on the amphitheater stage will be going on throughout the event.  All will be activities you don’t want to miss.  Stay awhile or stay all day!  Food vendors will be on hand as well as a wide variety of vendors that service kids and families.  Schedules of activities will be available at the check-in table.  Many activities will be FREE!  Don’t miss the now famous Mission Impossible game with a Jedi Theme (Kids where your costumes!) held at 10:30 and 1 pm.

“Kidsfest Idaho will be a fun-filled event with many free activities of all kinds for kids young and old.  I’m looking forward to keeping up the family friendly tradition we started here in the Treasure Valley with the Kite Festival in the spring and hope that lots of families come out and enjoy the fun in the summer too!”  says Becky Breshears, owner of Epique Events.

Don’t miss out on the fun!  This is a FREE event for everyone to attend.
